The summer job of a lifetime is back for a second year – Kiwi.com is looking to recruit 12 new World Travel Hackers for 2024
Prague, Czech Republic — For the second year running, travel-tech company Kiwi.com is recruiting for what is possibly the best job of the summer — to be a Kiwi.com World Travel Hacker and travel the world with a chosen travel buddy. The job comes with a ‘salary’ of €10,000 paid over four weeks, from which they will fund their adventures, knowing they get to keep whatever they save.
Once selected, the new recruits will be required to complete and document a series of travel challenges as part of their job and share them on social media to bring inspiration and advice to others looking for adventure and how to find the best experiences and travel hacks when traveling on a budget.
Last year’s recruits traveled quite different paths, with the duo from Poland traveling firstly to the Baltic countries, on to the Middle East and then to Southeast Asia, visiting over 30 locations along the way. The pair from Slovakia chose a very different journey and they got to share their Bogota and Rio de Janeiro experiences of visiting the once wild neighborhood of Comuna 13, to hacking their way to the cheapest possible helicopter flight around Rio de Janeiro. The pair that saved the most and went home with 20% of their budget to spend on themselves were from the Czech Republic and they chose to spend what they saved on… traveling!
“We are so excited to bring back the role of World Travel Hacker to Kiwi.com this summer, these lucky summer employees get to give Kiwi.com followers and customers real life advice, sharing what they learn from their adventures as they go, and inspiring others as to what is possible.” said Christophe Wechsler, Head of Content and Creative at Kiwi.com, whose team will be hiring the roles.
“We know this is probably one of the most desirable jobs out there this summer and following last year’s phenomenal response to the role, with so many superb applications coming from over 70 different countries around the world, we recognize that the toughest thing for us will be having to whittle it down to just 12 successful candidates.” he added.
