Kiwi.com organizes the first Cypress.io Hackathon Weekend in the Czech Republic
2 March 2023 – Kiwi.com, the leading travel-tech company, is bringing the Interactive Cypress.io Hackathon to the Czech Republic for the first time, having successfully launched it in Bratislava last year.
Led by top QA Engineers from Kiwi.com, the interactive tech weekend will take place at Kiwi.com’s headquarters in Brno, from 1-2 April 2023. During the event, the participants will acquire knowledge in SEO automation testing, improve their Cypress skills and become familiar with its best practices. Apart from the hard skills, the weekend is built in a way that also aims to activate important soft skills of the participants, such as teamwork and communication.
“At Kiwi.com we support tech communities and we love working with them. Brno is a technology hub and our home city, so we are excited to share our enthusiasm and experience with local professionals starting their journey in the tech industry. We use cutting-edge technologies, in order to bring the best experience for our customers and Cypress.io plays an important role in this because, with hundreds of improvements done at Kiwi.com daily, it ensures the quality of our product that would not be possible to do manually,” says Stanislav Komanec, acting CTO at Kiwi.com.
“We invite any interested tech enthusiasts to come and join the event but first they will need to solve an entry task that will be provided after registering. This simple task won’t have only one correct solution, meaning we can recognise and select participants across different levels based on the solutions they provide,” he added.
ENTRY & EVENT DETAILS
Entry tasks must be submitted by 12 March 2023. All entrants who sign up will hear back by 17 March 202. Those that submit the task successfully will be provided with additional information for the event.
Participants will break into groups and start working on a task, continue with a hackathon and finish the day in a relaxing atmosphere where they can get to know each other better.
Participants will have the chance to finalize their tasks and the organizers will evaluate and announce the winner that solved the task in the best way.
The event will be held in the Czech language, and interested participants can sign up and find more information here: https://code.kiwi.com/cypressweekend.
