Kiwi.com and Hoopy bring DevRelCon to Prague
- 18th edition of DevRelCon will take place in Prague from 6-7 December 2022
- The conference will help nurture relations between developers through learning and sharing
15 November 2022 – The international developers conference, DevRelCon, is back in-person and for its 18th edition and will take place in Prague for two days of sharing and learning. With previous editions being held in San Francisco, London, Tokyo and Berlin, this is the first time Prague will play host thanks to the joint forces of travel tech company, Kiwi.com, and developer relations consultancy, Hoopy.
Taking place on 6-7 December 2022, DevRelCon Prague is an English language conference for the developer relations community and will welcome those working in developer relations and see speakers from leading local and global tech firms, such as Datadog, Twilio, and Hype, addressing attendees from around the world. The key topics of this year’s event are how to build strong employer brands for companies that hire software developers and showcase best practice developer relations in the face of economic uncertainty.
DevRelCon and Hoopy founder, Matthew Revell, says, “Developer Relations is a rapidly growing sector of the tech industry, with companies as diverse as Google and JP Morgan Chase dedicated to building lasting relationships with software engineers. As a tech hub, Prague is the ideal city for us to bring together the developer relations community for this event.”
Jozef Képesi, Chief Technical Officer and Co-founder of Kiwi.com adds, “Software developers have a huge range of options when it comes to finding work. We at Kiwi.com have invested in developer relations to help our developers grow professionally when mentoring, publicly presenting tech stories, writing articles, knowledge sharing and more, supporting them in enjoying a fulfilling and meaningful career. We’re excited to be part of the team bringing DevRelCon to Prague.”
Developer relations is the branch of marketing that aims to build product awareness, community, and loyalty among those engineers. Developers contribute** one trillion euros to the EU economy annually, placing substantial economic power in the hands of software engineers.
