TapTrip integrates Kiwi.com products to streamline business travel
LONDON, 9 July 2019 — Travel tech start-up TapTrip has today announced the integration of Kiwi.com products within its platform. The users will be able to enjoy the benefits of comparing prices the websites are offering, including flights and localized transport networks.
The move follows TapTrip’s recent announcement that it will be co-hosting a series of UK roadshows with WeWork to help start-ups and SMEs optimize their business travel and expenses. The travel technology company is WeWork’s approved travel and expenses solution for all WeWork members and co-founders Neil Ruth and Thomas Young are mentors to WeWork Labs.
Zdeněk Komenda, Chief Business Development Officer at Kiwi.com, said: “To work alongside TapTrip was a no-brainer. It’s fantastic to be able to partner with a company who shares the same values and has a similar long-term plan and a vision to further disrupt the travel industry. We’re excited to integrate Kiwi.com’s products within the TapTrip platform and looking forward to seeing how this will benefit and work alongside their partnership with WeWork.”
Known for creating visionary business ecosystems, WeWork’s global network of shared workspaces for technology start-ups has multiple locations in the UK, including TapTrip’s home-base of Manchester — where the first roadshows kick off.

NOTES TO EDITOR
About Kiwi.com
Kiwi.com was founded in 2012 by Oliver Dlouhý and Jozef Képesi. The travel tech company was created for travelers by travelers. Its proprietary algorithm, Virtual Interlining, allows users to combine flights from more than 750 carriers, including many that do not normally cooperate. Kiwi.com also provides its industry-leading Kiwi.com Guarantee, which protects customers from missed connections because of delay, schedule change or cancellation.
Kiwi.com powers more than 100 million flight searches every day and employs over 2,600 people worldwide. It is one of the fastest-growing technology companies in Central Europe. It entered the 2017 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA list in 7th place, becoming the highest ever ranked Czech company. For the second consecutive year, Kiwi.com was named best Start-up of the Czech Republic by Czech Forbes Magazine in June 2018.
2018 saw the launch of Nomad, a revolutionary multi-city travel search tool, and Tequila, a B2B platform for partners of all sizes. Also in 2018, Kiwi.com incorporated ground transportation into its search technology.

· Synchronization of availability and bookings with traveller’s calendars
· Tracked costs and automated spend reports
· Expenses submission, automation and approval in seconds
· Sophisticated traveller tracking, 24/7 to fulfill duty of care requirements
Integrations with Kiwi, Skyscanner, Uber, Booking.com and Omio mean that travel bookings centralize into one, easy to use, omni-channel platform, reducing booking time for journeys from 43minutes to 3 minutes, whilst saving a business on average of £1,200, per employee per year.
Disrupting business travel tech by bringing the personalization and user experiences of a service such as Spotify or Netflix, to the business traveller, whilst building in control for businesses has garnered industry accolades including Business Travel Disrupt Award winner 2019 at Business Travel Show and the best UK Startup at the HNT Awards.
