• Kiwi.com connects the major Bulgarian airport with global hubs, bringing the world closer

27 February 2023 – Sofia Airport, the main international airport in Bulgaria, has partnered with travel-tech company Kiwi.com to offer its passengers near limitless air connections.

By implementing the Kiwi.com widget on the main page of Sofia Airport’s website, the airport provides its passengers with the ability to book flights from Sofia to anywhere in the world, even if there is no direct flight option from the airport.

Passengers using the new functionality will be able to find multiple connection options by connecting low-cost and legacy carriers into one combined itinerary. For example, thanks to Kiwi.com’s widget, travelers can search for flights to North or South America alongside the airport’s existing direct long-haul destinations. 

Earlier this month, Kiwi.com connected the regional airport of Ostrava, Czech Republic with the world by implementing its widget on the airport’s pages. Airports of Brno, Czech Republic, Hamburg, and Cologne, Germany, also help their passengers with unlimited connections powered by Kiwi.com.
