Kiwi.com announces partnership with Milan Bergamo Airport with seamless passenger experience

London, 28 February 2019 — Kiwi.com, the global travel technology provider and pioneer in implementing state-of-the-art technological solutions, today announced its partnership with Milan Bergamo Airport, unveiling an own-brand stopover product called Bergamolynk.

The partnership is a first for the Italian travel market and is expected to boost passenger numbers via Milan Bergamo Airport (Italy’s third largest in terms of both passengers and freight). The Bergamolynk stopover product will enhance the experience for Kiwi.com customers travelling through the airport. The new partnership will offer benefits such as; fast tracking, baggage assistance and additional duty-free enhancements. The new stopover product is set to launch as part of the Bergamolynk website roll-out.

Kiwi.com’s proprietary Virtual Interlining capabilities provide solutions for the ever-increasing trend that currently sees more than 40 per cent of global passengers by-passing traditional booking practices in favor of creating their own itineraries, stopovers and transfers.

Milan Bergamo Airport expects to see a notable increase in passengers as Kiwi.com expands its offering to their global customer base, which increased by 88 per cent in the last year. Millions of searches daily are carried out on Kiwi.com for global flights. The Milan Bergamo Airport partnership adds to a list of European airports working alongside Kiwi.com in offering a unique Hosted Stopover Program to their customers.
