20 February 2023 – Travel-tech company Kiwi.com has announced a new addition to the team and the Human Resources function – Chief HR Officer, Aparna Ballakur. 

Aparna brings extensive leadership experience in both strategic and operational Human Resources. Prior to joining Kiwi.com, she held senior HR positions at several global tech organizations such as SumUp, PayU, Flipkart, Yahoo!, and Adobe Systems.

In her role, Aparna Ballakur will provide a strategic approach to all HR matters, including defining Kiwi.com’s people agenda, shaping talent acquisition plans, and driving culture. Ballakur will oversee all HR teams: HR Operations, Learning & Development, Recruitment, as well as HR Business Partners, and will be part of the Executive Board acting as a trusted advisor to the entire leadership team. 

Aparna is based in Kiwi.com’s Barcelona office.
